Alarma Punk Jazz presents a special concert New American Works + Improvisation of the famous american pianist Amir Khosrowpour. Praised by The Los Angeles Times as having “irresistible verve, unpretentious directness, and fingers of steel,” pianist and composer Amir Khosrowpour “seeks out what is new and vital and delivers it with passion, considerable drama, and poetry” (NY Concert Review).

The event is part of the European tour – Way back home. Steve Gadd is regarded as the most influential drummer in contemporary music. Members of the band are the well-known Michael Landau, Jimmy Johnson, Kevin Hays and Walt Fowler.

Jazz night dedicated to the greatest hits of Nat King Cole. The Bulgarian trio will perform some of his most emblematic song – When I fall in love, L-o-v-e, Unforgettable and many more.

This is the second edition of the festival in Sofia. It is dedicated to the extreme sports (bungee jumping; BMX competitions etc). The organizers have prepared an excellent programme that gives the opportunity not only to watch but also to participate in different extreme sports.

Part of the event will also be the Extreme Fest Official Mirafiori Party on 24.Sept. in Yalta club (10 BGN entrance).

Kan Wakan is the musical moniker for Gueorgui Linev. Producer, songwriter, and composer, he provides a soundtrack for 20th-century minimalism while creating an ambient atmosphere within the soul of sounds. This year the LA-based Bulgarian-born musician was named in the LA Weekly as “one of the top 10 young songwriters in Los Angeles”.
